Sunshine, four distinctly different rosés plus some pink champagne set the scene for a very successful ladies wine tasting evening at Longueville Manor, in Jersey on 19 May.
Situated in sumptuous gardens we were treated to the advice and guidance from an award winning French sommelier and the hotel’s general manager. We travelled across Europe from France to Spain and then up to Italy before finishing the evening in South Africa; on the night the clear winner, as preferred by the majority, was the Pinot Grigio, but my personal favourite was the Chateau des Sours Bordeaux.
Thanks were extended to our clients and intermediaries for their continued support. Given the specifically pink theme a donation was made to Cancer Research UK Jersey on behalf of all those who attended.
