Rathbone Brothers Plc (“Rathbones”), a leading provider of discretionary fund management and wealth management services for private investors and trustees, announces the appointment of Mike Webb as chief executive of Rathbone Unit Trust Management on the retirement of Peter Pearson Lund in 2010. Webb is expected to assume the position in early February 2010.
A highly-experienced retail funds professional with over 25 years’ experience, Webb joins from Hermes Fund Managers where he was head of business development. Previous roles include chief executive officer of Invesco Perpetual, prior to which he was managing director of the retail division of GT Global Asset Management and sales & marketing director of Prolific Financial Management.
