Statement regarding discussions with Lloyds Banking Group

Rathbones confirms that it is in discussions with Lloyds Banking Group (“LBG”) in relation to the potential acquisition of certain assets relating to non core private client discretionary investment management activities within LBG’s Wealth and International Division, principally the Bank of Scotland Portfolio Management Service. Discussions are ongoing but there is no certainty that any transaction will proceed.
