Rathbones to establish presence in Exeter with acquisition of Citywall Financial Management
Rathbone Investment Management, one of the UK’s leading providers of investment management services to private investors and trustees, is to establish an office in Exeter following its acquisition of Citywall Financial Management (Citywall), the independent private client investment and financial management firm based in Southernhay Gardens, Exeter.
“Rathbones has a strong brand in private client investment management and a growing reputation. It also has a wonderful heritage dating back more than 100 years. We look forward to building on our success to date as Rathbones’ presence in Exeter and will be looking to attract both new clients and indeed new investment managers to join us,” commented Citywall’s managing director Stephen Phillips.
“Citywall will formally change its name to Rathbone Investment Management at some time over the summer but in the meantime its business as usual for us and our clients,” continued Stephen.
