SIPPs
Self-invested personal pension schemes (SIPPs) are personal pension schemes that allow members direct control over their investments and payments of pension income out of the assets.
SIPPs confer all the tax advantages of investing in a personal pension scheme as well as the flexibility and control of selecting your own investments and appointing your own investment manager.
Following a change to pension rules, introduced in April 2006, SIPPs can potentially present an ideal pension vehicle to consolidate existing pensions and give you control over your retirement future. However, you should take appropriate advice before proceeding.
