Stephen Hunter joins Rathbones’ Edinburgh team
Rathbone Investment Management (Rathbones) today announces the appointment of Stephen Hunter as investment director at its Edinburgh office. He will report to David Macaulay, regional director of Rathbones’ Edinburgh office.
Stephen joins from Cornelian Asset Managers, where he was a director within the private client and charity team having been head of investment research and responsible for client assets totalling over £120 million.
Prior to his role at Cornelian, Stephen worked and trained with ABN Amro Asset Management in London, where he joined as a graduate from Edinburgh University. Stephen is an Associate of the Society of Investment Professionals.
David Macaulay said: “Stephen is a strong addition to our ambitious Edinburgh team and brings a host of experience and enthusiasm with him. Following our move to St Andrew Square in 2010, we are very pleased to welcome him to our expanding team of high quality investment managers.”
Commenting on his appointment, Stephen said: “I look forward to taking up my position at Rathbones’ Edinburgh office and combining the discipline of investment research with the management of client portfolios and relationships. Other new joiners to Rathbones in 2012 include Keith MacKenzie, Rowland Flower, Evangelos Assimakos, Caroline O’Callaghan, Tony Milner and James Neill who have joined Rathbones’ offices across the UK.
