29 September
10:00 to 13:30

Rathbones will be co-hosting this year’s educational seminar with Claris D’cruz of Wrigleys Solicitors LLP and Anna Spencer-Gray of RSM UK Audit LLP who will discuss various aspects of the legal and accounting landscape relating to charities.

Victoria Hoskins, investment director at Rathbone Greenbank Investments, will explain the myriad of interchangeable ethical investment terms in the marketplace today. Many trustees want to reflect their ethics in their investments, but with so many interpretations what does it mean and, more importantly, does it make a difference?

Stephen Quick, investment manager at Rathbone Investment Management, will speak on the importance of charity investment policy statements (IPS) and discuss best practice for trustees writing and reviewing an IPS.

Presentations will be followed by lunch and a chance to network with other trustees and professionals.
