Christy heads up the tax advantaged investments proposition at Rathbones, where she is responsible for delivering a structured approach, with thorough due diligence, that will provide clients greater opportunity to invest in this space. Prior to joining Rathbones, Christy was involved in advising, identifying, and executing financial strategies, and supporting UHNW families at Fry Family Office. Christy is a Certified Financial Planner, who started her career working alongside accountants and solicitors to best support their clients.

Christy has a degree in Business Management from the University of Stellenbosch, in South Africa, where she specialised in Corporate Finance, Investment Strategies and Financial Planning.

Clare is an investment director and provides discretionary management for a longstanding client base. These cover private clients, corporate clients, charities and trusts. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Clare joined Rathbones in July 2010 following the acquisition of the Bank of Scotland Portfolio Management Service from Lloyds. She had been with portfolio management service for 25 years and during this time was involved in all aspects of private client investments and managed private client portfolios for the latter 17 years.

Before joining Rathbones, Bill spent over 20 years with Aberdeen Asset Management in a number of client relationship roles. Prior to that, he spent 10 years with Mitsubishi Finance Int’l in London managing institutional equity portfolios.

Clive is an investment director with 35 years’ experience in private client fund management. He has been actively involved in the management of portfolios for larger complex family structures, including the management of bespoke family funds.

Clive is a member of the Rathbone Investment Management Investment Executive Committee. He is also on Rathbones' committees for Strategic Asset Allocation and UK and International Stock Selection. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and has an honours degree from London University. Prior to his career in the financial services, Clive served in the regular army as a commissioned officer with the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.

Clive joined Rathbones in 2000, prior to which he spent 15 years at Kleinwort Benson as a wealth manager. Throughout this period, he was also actively involved in the research and stock selection process, was deputy chief investment officer and in his earlier years was research manager for the oil, gas, utility and pharmaceutical sectors.

Corinne Bathgate is an investment director at Greenbank specialising in the management of ethical portfolios for private clients, trusts and charities. She is a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Bristol. Corinne currently holds the Masters in Wealth Management and is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. She has also been awarded the CFA UK Level 4 Certificate in ESG Investing.

Corinne joined Rathbones in April 2007 and previously worked as an economic analyst.

Craig graduated from the Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University in 1996 with an honours degree in Commerce and joined Speirs & Jeffrey later that year. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.

Craig is an investment director and manages portfolios for private clients, trusts and charities. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

He joined Rathbones in November 2018 and brings with him 15 years of financial services experience, including time with Barclays Wealth & Investment Management, and Citibank. Directly prior to joining Rathbones, Craig was a multi-asset portfolio manager at Beckett Asset Management, constructing a range of portfolios for discretionary clients. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Craig is the senior investment specialist for the Rathbone Multi-Asset Portfolios and Managed Portfolio Service (MPS). Craig joined Rathbones in August 2021 having previously been employed as a senior investment manager at Brown Shipley Private Bank in Edinburgh, where he was responsible for looking after a wide variety of clients, including a number of large Scottish charities, providing bespoke investments portfolios aligned to specific client requirements. Prior to this Craig spent 10 years at the boutique wealth management firm, Murray Asset Management.

Craig is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments and a Chartered Wealth Manager, holding the Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification. In addition to this he was the first person in Scotland to successfully complete the CFA UK Certificate in ESG Investing.

Cristian is a trainee investment manager working alongside Ian Tansley and James Walker providing personalised investment management services for private clients, charities, trusts and pension funds. Cristian also works closely with a range of Midland based firms of intermediaries including solicitors, accountants and independent financial advisors.

In 2021 Cristian completed the CII’s Certificate in Discretionary Investment Management. He holds an honours degree in Economics from the University of Warwick. Before joining Rathbones in September 2022, Cristian worked as an Investment Analyst for a Midlands based Independent Financial Advisory. He has worked in the industry since 2019.
