Job Title: Administration Assistant

To provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure effective and efficient operations of the team and wider business to deliver an excellent client service. Demonstrates compliance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory framework
To cover a range of administration tasks including opening clients’ accounts whilst adhering to AML regulations
Process and monitor account amendments for any changes of client information
Provide administration support for portfolio transfers, CGT and account closures
To prepare new client packs including all appropriate forms
Reconciling client information against new client packs.
Ad hoc administration cover to support any backlogs within the team
Respond promptly to telephone calls, take and pass on clear messages and project a positive image of the organisation
Manage and file correspondence and records in a timely and efficient manner ensuring accuracy of data
Contribute to support staff meetings, suggesting improvements to procedures
Sharing best working practices with other support staff
Provide reception cover as required by answering calls, welcoming guests and preparing for meetings
Knowledge and skills required
- Have experience working in a similar role in Financial Services, the Investment or Wealth Management industry
- Understanding of the regulatory environment in which we operate.
- Understanding of the products and services Rathbone provide
- Grades A-C at GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
- Willing to undertake further professional qualifications
