I studied Economics and Mediaeval History (MA Hons.) at the University of St Andrews, graduating in 2010. I started my career in financial planning at Saunderson House in 2011, becoming part of the Rathbones Group when the business was acquired in 2021. I am a Chartered Financial Planner and became authorised to provide financial advice in January 2016. I work closely with a wide variety of clients from different backgrounds. I enjoy getting to know my clients, and helping them formulate a strategy to realise their financial goals.
Keith Mackenzie

Keith is an investment director, responsible for managing a number of portfolios for private individuals, personal pensions, trusts and charities.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and holds an honours degree in Business Studies. Prior to joining Rathbones in May 2012, Keith spent four years working as an investment manager for Williams De Broe in Edinburgh having previously worked for Gerrards and Barclays Wealth.
Charlie Dennis

Charlie Dennis joined Rathbones in 2022 and is now Senior Financial Intermediaries Executive. He leads the onboarding and due diligence of advisory firms, ensuring compliance and supporting business growth. Charlie’s client-focused approach delivers efficient onboarding and strengthens relationships across the firm. He previously held management roles at LV=, building expertise in financial services and client relations.

By understanding their current position, requirements and investment objectives, I build a bespoke investment portfolio that suits their present and future needs. I specialise in private client, pension, charity and trust investment management, and work closely with my financial planning colleagues where appropriate, to ensure a holistic service is provided.

I'm responsible for the day-to-day management of portfolios for private individuals, private limited companies, trusts, charities and pension clients. I have a particular interest in environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations within investment management and manage a number of bespoke portfolios for clients with specific ethical preferences. I also actively engage in the Group's investment process, sitting on the Equity Collectives Committee.
Dylan Hobson

The most important part of my job is understanding my clients emotions and their behaviour as these factors are critical to establishing a long-term investment plan that will benefit everyone over the years.

Olivia is an investment Director on the charity team at Rathbones, where she joined from Investec Asset Management. She is an Associate of the CISI (Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment) having obtained the Investment Advice Diploma, and is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charterholder.
Olivia graduated from Exeter University with a BSc Hons in Economics and Politics, and currently sits on the Charity Stock Selection Committee at Rathbones, as well as the Stewardship Committee.
Cath Byrne

My main role is to provide support to the financial planners in the office. I aim to free up as much of their time as possible so that they can concentrate on meeting and working with clients whenever needed. My day-to-day varies depending on the needs of the client.
Jonathan Brock

Jonathan joined Rathbones in 2011 and provides discretionary management for private clients, pensions, trusts and charity portfolios. He started his investment career at JP Morgan in 2007 and prior to joining Rathbones, worked at Newton assisting in the management of private client portfolios.

I am predominantly responsible for running private client portfolios at Investec Wealth & Investment, having worked for the Firm for well over 20 years, whilst having over 30 years’ investment experience. My clients have general investments, SIPPs, offshore bonds, ISAs, AIM stocks etc. Previously I worked for Baring Asset Management and AON Minet which ultimately merged (via Capel Cure Sharp) into Barclays Wealth, where I gained varied experience in the world of investment.
