He joined Rathbones in January 2023 having spent almost 5 years as an Associate Director at 7IM, formerly TCAM, in Edinburgh. Rory is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment and is a Chartered Wealth Manager.

James joined Rathbones in September 2025, bringing with him two decades of experience from Cazenove Capital. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), where he has also served as an external specialist. With a strong focus on Structured Products, James previously led the proposition at Cazenove Capital and now contributes his expertise as a member of the Structured Product Committee at Rathbones. He primarily works with Private Clients and their Financial Advisors.
