Christie Goncalves

Christie is assistant fund manager in the fixed income team.Christie joined Rathbones in January 2024, arriving with 15 years of experience in fixed income markets, most recently at Vanguard where she spent eight years as an assistant portfolio manager on global corporate Environment Social and Governance (ESG) funds and ETFs, and as a senior trader focused on European and UK government and corporate bonds. Prior to this she was an emerging markets trader and portfolio manager for Stanlib in South Africa.
Sally Hoang

Sally is the fixed income research analyst for the Rathbone Multi-Asset and Rathbone Greenbank Multi-Asset Portfolio funds. Sally joined Rathbones in September 2022 as an analyst for the Rathbone Fixed Income Team. Prior to joining Rathbones, she worked in fixed income and private wealth management at Evans and Partners in Australia. Sally graduated from Monash University, Melbourne, with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (with Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Finance) and is currently a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 3 candidate.
Sammy Dow

Sammy co-manages the Rathbones Global Opportunities Fund with James Thomson. He joined Rathbones in July 2014 from JP Morgan Cazenove, where he worked for 14 years in Pan- European Equity Sales providing both primary and secondary advice to Hedge Funds, Institutional and Private clients. Sammy has a Bachelor’s degree from Edinburgh University and completed a Master’s degree at Cambridge University in 2001.
Alfie Hayes

Alfie is the Business Development Director at Rathbones for the East of England, supporting financial advisers with discretionary investment solutions and client-focused portfolio services.
Prior to joining Rathbones in 2016, Alfie spent 4 years at BGC Group as an interdealer bond broker specialising in UK government and corporate bonds and 1 year as a Business Development Executive at Franklin Templeton. Alfie holds the Investment Management Certificate (Level 4) and a BA (Hons) Politics degree from the University of Leeds.
Emma Letheren

Emma joined in October 2024 as the equity research analyst for Rathbones Multi-Asset and Rathbones Greenbank Multi-Asset funds. Prior to joining Rathbones, Emma spent seven years covering the European Consumer Staples sector as an equity research analyst at RBC Capital Markets. She is a CFA charterholder and graduated from the University of Nottingham with a first in BSc Economics.

Michael is the Equity Investment specialist embedded across the five Rathbones equity strategies. This includes two UK focused strategies; the Rathbones Income fund and UK Opportunities fund as well as two Global funds; the Greenbank Global sustainability fund and Global opportunities fund and our recently launched Asia fund. He joined Rathbones in October 2016 and brings 14 years of financial services experience. Michael previously worked as a specialist on the sales team focused on Rathbones ethical and sustainable products and services.
