Jeremy Stanyer

Jeremy is an investment director, holding a BA Hons degree in Accountancy and Finance from Humberside University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Jeremy joined Rathbones in November 2010 after managing private client portfolios at Williams de Broe in Bournemouth. He began his career at Walker Crips Weddle Beck in the summer of 1987 and has worked at Cazenove, Laing & Cruickshank and for the last 13 years at Williams de Broe on the South Coast.

Phil Rennie

Phil is an investment director who joined Rathbones in 1997 having previously qualified as a professional member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
Phil completed the Securities Institute Diploma and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment as well as achieving the designation of Chartered Wealth Manager.
Phil is responsible for managing investment portfolios for private individuals, trusts and SIPPs.

Drawing on the broad and deep resources across Rathbones, I provide our UK and international private clients with holistic wealth management advice and solutions centred around the three core pillars of wealth management: Financial planning, Investment management and Credit.
I have been fortunate to look after some of my clients for nearly two decades now which has been an honour. Helping to design plans and portfolios that provide for the families across generations with the aim of maintaining and passing on a legacy is a privilege.

Robert Slater

Robert joined Rathbones in 2019 has now gained 10 years experience managing bespoke portfolios for Individuals, Charities, Trusts and Institutions. Robert has also worked at Hassium Asset Management LLP, Invesco Perpetual and Oil Brokerage.
Robert has a degree in Economics and Geography from Loughborough University, is a CFA Charterholder and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments. Robert also sits on the overseas stock selection committee for the Rathbones Group.

Sean Curran

Sean joined Rathbones in 2015 and oversees the Research Operations function. Sean is also responsible for the management and implementation of the investment research communications strategy.
Previously, Sean worked for Dow Jones as a senior associate covering the private markets. During his time there, he produced an array of research content for clients and for public consumption, focusing principally on private equity and venture capital investment activity in the U.S., EMEA and China.
