Votes against slavery 2023

9 July 2024

Modern slavery is on the rise. We’re part of the fight against it.

Rathbones Investment Management

Article last updated 25 November 2025.

Votes Against Slavery is a coalition of more than 150 investors, set up by Rathbones in 2020.

It presses companies to comply with the UK’s landmark 2015 Modern Slavery Act by reporting the steps they’ve taken to ensure modern slavery isn’t in their business or supply chains.

Our report looks at what the coalition achieved in 2023.
