Appointment of Group Finance Director

Rathbones Group Plc (“Rathbones”) today announces that Jennifer Mathias has been appointed Group Finance Director, subject to regulatory approval. Jennifer will join Rathbones on 1 April 2019 and will also be appointed as an Executive Director to the Rathbones board and a member of the Group Executive Committee. This role will sit alongside the roles of the CEO and Managing Director of Rathbone Investment Management, increasing the total number of Executive Directors on the board from two to three.

Rathbones secures title sponsor of the 2017 Women's Lacrosse World Cup

Rathbone Brothers Plc, the FTSE 250 wealth management company, has increased its commitment to English Lacrosse by becoming the title sponsor of the 2017 FIL Women’s Lacrosse World Cup.
The FIL Rathbones Women’s Lacrosse World Cup will be hosted at Surrey Sports Park the 13 – 22 July 2017. This will be the 10th Women’s World Cup and more than 26 nations are expected to compete for the world title. The nine day event will welcome over 10,000 spectators, 700 elite athletes and 2,000 festival lacrosse participants.

Joel is a Senior Investment Director at Rathbones Investment Management International in Jersey and manages multi-asset discretionary portfolios for private clients, offshore trusts and charities. Joel is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder (CFA). He is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, having passed the CISI Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice and Management (PCIAM) with distinction. In addition, he holds the Diploma in Financial Planning from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Tim Ford

Tim is a Senior Investment Director at Rathbones Investment Management International Ltd (RIMI), having joined the company in 2007, and manages a range of private client, trust and charity portfolios. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and holds the Investment Advice Certificate, the Certificate in Investment Management and the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing. Tim sits on the Jersey Executive Committee and has responsibility for RIMI’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations.

Connor joined Rathbones in October 2020 as part of the Graduate Programme. He graduated from Northumbria University with a First-Class Honours Degree in Business Management, having won the Hewitson Award for the highest overall mark obtained in the Newcastle Business School. During his studies, he completed a 1-year placement at Asset Risk Consultants. Connor obtained the Investment Advice Diploma in 2021 and is currently studying towards the Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager qualification.

Joe has over 9 years’ experience in the investment management/finance industry and joined Rathbones in 2023 from UBS.
Joe manages multi-asset discretionary portfolios for private clients, offshore trusts and charities. Joe is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (‘CISI’), following completion of both Investment Advice Diploma (Securities) and Level 6 Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice & Management.
