David Owen

David graduated in 1987 having read law at The University of Liverpool. David has spent his whole professional career working in Liverpool. His career started in Investment Management in Liverpool with Rensburg & Co where he trained as an equity and bond analyst before moving to portfolio management responsibilities for HNW private clients, pension funds and charities. He now is a Senior Investment Director in the Liverpool office of Rathbones and a Chartered Fellow of the Securities Institute. David served on the board of Edge Hill University for several years.
Guy Tulloch

Guy is an investment director with over 25 years’ industry experience of managing investments for a wide range of private clients, trusts, charities and corporate entities. Having worked in London since the 1990s, Guy returned to Scotland in 2008 to help establish HSBC’s private banking operation in the country before going on to head up the Scottish Lloyds Mayfair Private Banking team. He joined Rathbones in January 2021, having been an investment director at Tcam Asset Management until 7IM acquired the business in 2018.
Neil Mullins

Neil began his career with NatWest where he covered several roles in both the private client and commercial sectors before moving to an established Accountancy practise as a trust manager.He has extensive experience in the trust and taxation field advising many individuals and family groups.Neil is a qualified member of the Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) and Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

I am Divisional Director and lead the region of Scotland and Northern Ireland. I also manage portfolios for private clients, trusts, SIPP's, charities and corporate entities. This involves working closely alongside other professionals, including solicitors, accountants and financial advisers, to build and implement bespoke investment strategies for our clients.

He is a graduate of BA History from the University of Northampton, and has previous professional experience in the property industry.Richard's role is to support the case managers within Rathbones Trust Company to ensure that our clients’ needs are met.

Daniel is an Investment Manager and joined Rathbones in 2018. He graduated from the University of Hertfordshire and achieved a first class honours degree in Mathematics (BSc). Daniel is part of a team that manages over £1.5bn in assets for private clients, charities and trusts. He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI), having achieved the Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager (CWM) qualification and the Level 7 Diploma in Advanced Financial Planning.
Thomas Cottier

Tom is a graduate of Durham University, where he studied Economics. He joined Rathbones in 2014, spending two years in Operations and a year on the Dealing desk before moving into investment management. Tom now works with Joanna Pennington-Jones in the management of portfolios, primarily for private clients, pensions and Trusts.
Rupert Webb

Rupert joined Rathbones in 2021 as an investment manager, having started his career with WH Ireland in 2010. He specialises in the management of bespoke private client, pension, trust, charitable and institutional portfolios. Rupert graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Economics, is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and holds the designation Chartered Wealth Manager, following completion of the level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager qualification. He is also a member of the Guild of Investment Managers.
Adam Hilder

Adam is an investment manager and has worked in private client investment management since 2011. He joined Rathbones in 2017 having previously worked at Redmayne-Bentley. Adam completed a Masters in Wealth Management in 2017. This is the highest qualification the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment offers. He graduated from University in 2008 with a 2:1 degree in Business Management with Finance and Economics. Adam specialises in discretionary investment management for private clients, trusts, charities and personal pension funds (SIPPs).
Lawrence Mason

Lawrence joined the financial services industry in 1998 after reading Law at University, and having initially set out to train as a pilot. Following a decade as the leading financial and investment adviser at a major private bank, a further 10 years as Director of a specialist Independent Financial Advisory firm, and having completed an investment weighted MBA and external study on wealth management for professionals, he now continues his career as Financial Planning Director at Rathbones.
