Hannah Fitzsimmons

Hannah began her career at Rathbones in 2014, carrying out various roles in Operations before moving to Investment Risk where she worked for 4 years monitoring Investment Managers and conducting project work implementing industry regulation. Hannah moved to her role as Assistant Investment Manager in March 2020.Hannah holds an honours degree in Anatomy and Human Biology from the University of Liverpool. She has completed the Investment Advice Diploma and holds the CISI Chartered Wealth Manager qualification.

Neil Hardman

Neil is an investment director and has over 10 years’ experience of managing investments for a wide range of private clients, trusts and charities. Prior to joining Rathbones, Neil was an investment director at Evelyn Partners where he worked since 2011 . As well as being a member of the Scotland charity team, Neil was also a member of the direct equity committee where he helped guide the process for investing in direct equities throughout the wider company. Neil is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI and holds a 2:1 MA in History and International Relations from Aberdeen University.

This can often involve working closely with a client's existing advisors.

I mostly work with private individuals, trusts and independent financial advisers, specialising in constructing investment portfolios that help reach their financial goals in the most tax efficient manner. Wherever appropriate, I work closely with my financial planning colleagues to identify suitable pension and tax planning opportunities to ensure my clients receive the best possible financial advice.

Phil Bain

Phil is the deputy managing director of Rathbones Investment Management International. He manages a range of private client, trust and charity portfolios and sits on both Jersey and Group Investment Committees at Rathbones. Phil is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and holds the Investment Management Certificate (IIMR).

Sophie Lawrence

Sophie joined Greenbank in January 2020 as a senior ethical, sustainable and impact researcher and has recently moved into a new role as Greenbank’s Stewardship and Engagement Lead. She is responsible for the delivery of key engagement projects, building relationships with external partner organisations, and shaping Greenbank’s engagement strategy, priorities and reporting. She started her career at Barclays Bank in 2013 and most recently spent three years at KKS Advisors, a strategy consultancy in London where she led a team specialising in sustainable and impact investment.

Tom is a Chartered Financial Planner. He joined Rathbones following the acquisition of Saunderson House, having joined as a graduate trainee in 2011. Tom specialises in the provision of strategic financial planning advice bringing this and long-term tax planning together to help clients formulate and execute their plans to achieve their financial independence, with simplicity and transparency.
