James Blosse-Lynch

James is an investment director in the London office and is responsible for managing investments for private clients, including their pensions, companies and charities. James also sits on the Investment Committee with responsibility for selecting North American collective investments. Prior to joining Rathbones in 1997, and after graduating, James worked in financial public relations with ABS Communications.

I work within the Investec Private Office team and I am responsible for advising high net worth individuals and their families on their long-term Wealth Management strategies. I am able to draw upon the vast experience and knowledge of my specialist Financial Planning and Private Banking colleagues to deliver flexible, tailored solutions to my clients across the full spectrum of their financial affairs.
Shivee Singh Gehlote

Shivee joined Rathbones in 2023 and has started on the graduate trainee investment management programme. This is her first job after graduating from the London School of Economics and Political Science in July 2023 in BSc Management. Shivee also completed a summer internship in M&A during her second year of university.
Charles Morgan

Charles is an investment director, he is responsible for the management of private client portfolios, including trusts, charities and pension funds (SIPPs). Charles began his career as a trainee stockbroker with Charles Stanley & Co in 1986 before joining Laurence Keen in 1990, which was acquired by Rathbones Group Plc in 1995. Charles is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Emma Saunders

Emma is a research analyst and joined the team in December 2014. Emma sits on the collectives research team and carries out quantitative and qualitative analysis to select the “best in class” funds for recommended use within the portfolios managed at Rathbones. Emma graduated with a BSc in Mathematics with Business Management from the University of East Anglia. She holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation and is a CFA charterholder.
David Shorrock

Based in the Leeds Office, David joined Rathbones in 2024 as an Investment Director. He enjoys managing multi-asset portfolios for private individuals, pension funds, trusts and companies. He prides himself on building close relationships with clients and delivering the highest quality of service. David is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, a Chartered Wealth Manager and holds an honours degree in Business Studies. He has over 23 years of industry experience, having most recently worked as an investment director at Brown Shipley.
James Hampshire

James joined Rathbones in 2017 and manages investments for private clients, charities, and trusts. James' team manages over £700m in assets.James initially worked in Rathbones' Financial Planning division, before joining the Investment Management graduate scheme in 2019.
Scott Dickson

Scott is an investment director and manages portfolios for a wide range of clients. Like many, Scott is a very experienced member of the team and has experienced a number of market cycles and crises throughout his time with Speirs & Jeffrey. He joined Speirs & Jeffrey in 1987 and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.
Danny Hannan

Danny is an investment manager who has worked in the industry for 20 years. His primary responsibilities are the provision of discretionary investment management solutions for individuals, family trusts and pensions. Having started his investment career at Lloyds Private Bank in Mayfair he moved to Williams de Broe in 2006. The firm was acquired by Investec in 2011. He left to join Rathbones in 2014. He is a Chartered Member of the Institute for Securities & Investment.
William Day

William graduated from Manchester University with a 2:1 degree in History and started his career at Douglas Deakin Young (now part of Duncan Lawrie) in 2000. William joined Rathbones in September 2014 from Jupiter Asset Management, having also previously worked at Bestinvest. Throughout his career he has managed portfolios for a wide variety of families, individual clients, pension funds and charities, and spends much of his time working with Independent Financial Advisers and on behalf of their clients. William is a Chartered Member of the CISI (MCSI).
Jonny Holmes

Jonny is an investment manager in the Winchester office. He joined Rathbones in summer 2019 having moved from Quilter Cheviot where he worked for eight years. Jonny is a Fellow of the Chartered Securities Institute and is a Chartered Financial Technician (CFTe) and a member of the Society of Technical Analysts (MSTA). He and his young family are based in Southampton.
Matthew Field

Matthew has worked as an investment manager since 2004. Having previously worked at Quilter & Co, he joined Rathbones’ Birmingham office to add to the team spearheading growth in the Midlands and wider region. Matthew specialises in providing and managing bespoke investment solutions for SIPPs/SSASs, offshore bonds, equity, bond and collective portfolios for private clients, trustees and friendly societies.
