I am a senior investment director, working in our specialist charities team based in London. I provide bespoke investment advice and management to a diverse group of charity clients, working closely with Trustees to create portfolios tailored to meet their objectives. I am passionate about sustainability and am a member of our environmental research group as well as sitting on our Collectives investment committee.
Stuart Wood

Stuart joined Rathbones as a client service executive in April 2020 as part of the acquisition of the Barclays Wealth Court of Protection team. Before joining Rathbones, Stuart held various roles in Barclays’ Retail, Corporate, Real Estate and Wealth divisions. Since his move to the Court of Protection team, Stuart has enjoyed supporting our clients and their deputies/trustees. He is currently studying for the CISI Investment & Advice qualification. Away from work Stuart has two young children and is a keen sportsman with a golf handicap of 7.
Simon Maydon

Simon's specialisms centre around pensions, investments, and long term tax planning. His clients are largely made up of barristers at a variety of chambers across the Inns of Court and solicitors at firms such as Freshfields, Herbert Smith Freehills, and Stephenson Harwood. He also helps accountants, entrepreneurs and some retired folks.
Grant Pinkerton

Grant has almost 20 years experience in the industry having joined Glasgow stockbrokers Stirling Hendry in 1995 whilst still at university. Starting on the firm's graduate trainee programme, he progressed to the role of investment manager looking after a variety of private clients, trusts and charities. Through a variety of mergers, the firm eventually became part of the Gerrard Group and Grant moved to Brewin Dolphin in 2005 and became an assistant director. He joined Rathbones in May 2015.

Stuart Chilvers

Stuart works with Bryn Jones, assisting in the management of the Rathbone Ethical Bond Fund and the Rathbone Strategic Bond Fund. He is also the lead fund manager of the Rathbone High Quality Bond Fund. Stuart joined Rathbones in September 2017 and was made an Assistant Fund Manager in January 2020, then Fund Manager in January 2022. Previously, he gained three years industry experience at Brown Shipley.
Kirsten Douglas

Kirsten assists Andy Pitt and Gareth Pearl with the administration of charity portfolios. She joined Rathbones early in 2017, after previously working for JP Morgan for over 10 years in client services. Kirsten graduated from Edinburgh University with a BA (Hons) degree in Business Management.

A Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments, with over two decades of experience in wealth management, Simon works closely with individuals, families, trusts, and their advisers to help them achieve their financial goals, protect and grow their wealth, and gain confidence in their financial decisions.
Thomas Weston-Davies

Thomas specialises in managing investment portfolios for private individuals, pensions, trusts and charities. Within Rathbones he sits on the Strategic Asset Allocation Committee.Thomas joined Rathbones in May 2012, after graduating from the University of St Andrews with a honours degree in History. He is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charterholder and holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School.
Tristan George

As office head I oversee all investment management and financial planning activities and their interaction with the Portfolio Management Team to make sure that client portfolios are constructed practically and optimally in-line with the output from the IRO. I am also responsible for putting the Investec brand and message out into the region to assist with business growth via Marketing and PR.
Nick Roe-Ely

Having graduated with an MA in History from the University of Cambridge in 1981, Nick began his investment career with Tilney & Co, in Liverpool, where he spent 24 years. He joined Rathbones in 2011 after spending time as head of asset management with an investment boutique and with J O Hambro Capital Management in London. He was elected a member of the London Stock Exchange in 1986 and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
