She has a strong background in environmental research, climate policy, and sustainability consulting, having worked at PwC and an economic consultancy firm.

Laura Hobbs, Investment Director has 15 years’ experience in financial services, with over a decade working with not for profit clients. Laura joined Rathbones as an Investment Director within the specialist Greenbank team in 2022 where she is dedicated to advising and managing investments for charity clients.
Toby Saunders

Toby Saunders joined Rathbones in 2024 as an Investment Director, bringing over a decade of experience in wealth management. He works closely with individuals, families, charities, trusts, and pension schemes to help them achieve their financial goals, protect and grow their wealth, and gain confidence in their investment decisions. Toby began his career at J M Finn, where he trained as an Investment Manager, before moving to Quilter Cheviot in 2018. He holds a degree in Neuroscience from the University of Manchester and is a Chartered Wealth Manager.

Scott started his career in financial services shortly after graduating from the University of Edinburgh. He worked with a small specialist financial advice firm based in Totnes in Devon. After returning north of the border, Scott has worked in boutique wealth management firms and has been advising private clients across Scotland.

Laura joined Bank of Scotland Portfolio Management Service in 2008 as an Investment Administrator. Laura completed her Investment Advice Diploma in 2017 before moving into a management role.

She works closely with financial planners and tax specialists to ensure her clients’ objectives are met in the most efficient manner. Prior to joining Rathbones Lisa spent 15 years with SG Kleinwort Hambros, where she looked after a wide range of clients, including entrepreneurs, city professionals and senior executives, especially those within the media and entertainment industry.
Will Rigg

Will Rigg is an Assistant Investment Manager who works closely with Investment Directors Andrew Waddell, Brendan Butler, and William Metcalfe. He helps manage a range of bespoke portfolios, including SIPPs, ISAs, and discretionary trusts, for private clients, financial advisers, and solicitors. Will holds a 2:1 Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
