Jess Templeton-King

Jess works closely with James Blosse-Lynch and David Parsons, managing discretionary multi-asset investment portfolios for a variety of private clients, trusts, charities, and pensions. She joined Rathbones in 2023, having previously worked as a financial planner and portfolio manager at Saunderson House.Jess is a Chartered Wealth Manager (CISI), a Chartered Financial Planner (APFS), and holds the CFA Diploma in Investment Management (ESG). She graduated in 2014 with a BA (Hons) degree in Economics and Politics (2:1) from the University of Sheffield.

One-year state pension delay could cost early 50s workers almost £18k

Workers aged 51–53 could be the first affected if the state pension age rise to 68 is brought forward by a year, potentially reducing their pension payments by up to £17,774, according to new calculations by Rathbones, one of the UK’s leading wealth managers.

Connor Stapley

Connor joined Rathbones in 2024 and is a Financial Planner, supporting private clients with personalised financial planning to help them achieve their long-term goals. He has been working in financial planning since 2019, developing his skills and knowledge through roles focused on investment planning, retirement strategy, and estate planning. Before joining Rathbones, he worked at a regional Wealth firm in Henley-On-Thames where he managed a wide range of client relationships.

Claire Rainey

Claire joined Rathbones in 2021, initially working in the Chichester office, as a Client Service Executive. More recently Claire has moved to the Guildford office.Claire has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years, and started her career at Lloyds TSB, providing administrative support to both clients and Investment Directors. In October 2023 Claire obtained the CISI Introduction to Securities and investments qualification.

Robert Chapman

Robert has over 25 years’ experience in the finance industry and supports our Investment Managers in all aspects of the business, including client administration. He is an associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and joined Rathbones in 2011.

Benny Smallwood

Benny joined Rathbones in February 2025 after graduating from the University of Exeter with a first-class degree in Economics and Business. He now supports investment managers with investment decisions, discretionary portfolio management, and client relations. Benny is currently working towards his Investment Advice Diploma and has a passion for golf and cricket amongst other sports.

Freddie Blunden

Freddie started his career in financial services at the beginning of 2018 when he joined Rathbones. In his role as an investment manager, he manages client portfolios on behalf of private clients, trusts and pension funds. Freddie particularly enjoys building relationships with his clients, understanding their circumstances and goals to provide an excellent service. Freddie graduated from Queen Mary, University of London with a 2:1 in Mathematics. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, having passed the Chartered Wealth Manager qualification.

Angela Greaux

Angela is primarily responsible for all Front of House duties including hospitality and dealing with switchboard calls. She also assists with co-ordinating meetings and events, supporting Investment Managers and general office duties. She joined Rathbones in 2011 having previously worked at Barclays Wealth (formerly called Gerrard Investment Management) as a secretary for 10 years. Angela has over 25 years secretarial and administration experience.

Dean Pitt

Dean is a financial planner based in Bristol, with over 10 years’ experience in the industry and has been with Rathbones since 2021. Dean provides holistic financial planning advice to individuals, families, trusts and business owners, assisting them in planning for and achieving their financial goals. Dean is experienced in all aspects of financial planning, including investment structuring and tax efficiency, retirement planning and income strategy, in addition to protection, estate, and inheritance tax planning.

Beth Fishlock

Beth joined Rathbones in 2016 as an Administration Assistant, she was promoted to a CSE in 2018 and became a Senior CSE in 2023. She works closely with a team of three CSEs to support a desk of four Investment Directors and Managers in the Bristol office. Beth has worked in the financial services industry for over 12 years having started her career at Rowan Dartington as well as working as a Personal Assistant. Beth lives in North Somerset with her husband and daughter. She enjoys reading, walking, yoga and playing with her family in the garden.

Cameron Band

Cameron joined Greenbank in May 2023, following a year of working at Rathbones as an Administrative Assistant. Before entering the world of investments, Cameron worked in the legal industry, specialising in Wills and Probate. He now looks forward to expanding his knowledge and has recently signed up to the CISI level 3 Investment Operations Certificate.

Kerry Mustchin

Kerry has worked for the company since 2011 initially in the Reigate office, but since its closure is now located at the Guildford office. Previous roles include Royal Sun Alliance since school leaver age, followed by the NHS Litigation Authority for the majority of her working career in secretarial and administrative roles.
