As the title suggests, Scottish Ballet is so much more than pointe shoes and tutus and this event gave us the opportunity to hear from principal dancer Bethany Kingsley Garner, soloist Bruno Micchiardi as well as the chairman of Scottish Ballet, Jim Pettigrew on how they are exploring their mission to inspire onstage and beyond.

The evening included an exclusive viewing of an excerpt from 2019’s national tour of Christopher Hampson’s The Snow Queen, as well as the acclaimed short dance film Frontiers, directed by Scottish Ballet’s filmmaker in residence Eve McConnachie.
