Rowland Flower

Investment director


Rowland Flower is an investment director with over 14 years experience. He specialises in the management of private clients, trusts and SIPPs and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

After graduating from Newcastle University in 1997, Rowland began his investment career at Fleming Private Asset Management (subsequently acquired by JP Morgan Chase) where he built up a solid grounding in equity research before becoming a Private Client Portfolio Manager. In 2001, he joined HSBC Investment Management, where he was made a director and ultimately responsible for a team managing over £200m of assets. Rowland moved to PSigma Investment Management as an investment director in 2005, making a significant contribution to the firm’s expansion during his six years managing private client, trust and SIPP portfolios. In 2008 and 2009, he received nominations at the Spear’s Wealth Management Awards in the category ‘Future Leader in Wealth Management’. Rowland recently joined the Liverpool office of Rathbones in January 2012.
