Euan MacDonald

Euan graduated from the University of Strathclyde with an MSc in Finance before joining Barclays Private Bank working in London, Geneva and latterly in Scotland. He joined Rathbones in 2014 and specialises in the management of charities and private clients. Euan is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charter holder, a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and holds the Investment Management Certificate. He sits on Rathbones Developed Market Equity Committee and is responsible for the research of European investments.
Imogen Carter

Imogen is an Investment Manager based in the Glasgow office, working alongside Michael Wilson, Stuart Milne, and Christopher Johnstone. She joined the firm in 2020 through the Rathbones Graduate Program, having previously graduated from the University of St Andrews with a first-class master’s degree in Physics.Imogen is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments, having obtained the Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification in 2023 with merit.

Robert Goodchild

Robert joins us as an investment director from Taylor Young Investment Management Ltd and manages a range of private client, trust, charity and SIPP portfolios.
Robert began his career at Scrimgeour Kemp-Gee Ltd in 1982 before moving to Greig Middleton in 1991 and subsequently joining Taylor Young Investment Management Ltd in 2004. Robert is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Steven Haines

Steve is an investment director at Rathbones having joined in 2014 and manages a broad range of private client portfolios, trusts and self-invested pension schemes.
He started his career at Williams de Broë (now Investec) in 2011. Steve is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and a Chartered Wealth Manager. He is a member of the Rathbones Financial Adviser Investment team.
Yemisi Duroshola

Yemisi is a Chartered Financial Planner and has been authorised to provide advice since 2012. She worked at Saunderson House for 16 years, having joined the firm following graduation from the University of Bristol with a degree in Economics and Management, prior to Saunderson House integrating with Rathbones Financial Planning in 2024. Yemisi holds the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and takes pride in providing an individually tailored service to her clients, to help clients achieve their long term objectives.

I provide holistic financial planning advice and manage multi-asset portfolios as part of our Wealth Planning service to a range of private clients, families and trusts. By focussing on each client's goals and aspirations as a starting point, I am able to create bespoke financial plans and investment strategies built around tax-efficient structures and principles. Frequently strategies are put in place to build wealth over time, plan for income during retirement or to ensure hard earned assets can be passed effectively and tax efficiently between generations over time.

Elliot joined Rathbones’ charity team in 2016 from Investec Wealth & Investment, where he spent eight years as an investment manager in the charities team. He has over 15 years' experience of advising and managing private client portfolios and charity investments. As a trustee and treasurer of Shaftesbury Young People, a charity dedicated to the lives of young and disadvantaged children, and a founding trustee of a Chinese arts-based charity, Elliot brings a wealth of experience and insight to helping charities achieve their future growth goals.
Nehal Desai

Nehal joined Rathbones in 2010, following prior experience at EFG Private Bank. She moved into investment management and joined Jane Sydenham’s team in 2014.
Nehal is responsible for managing discretionary portfolios for a complex client base, including high-net-worth individuals, family groups, and their associated trusts, charities, and pension funds. She works closely with a variety of clients, including domestic and international accounts, with a particular focus on advising entrepreneurs on structuring and preserving their wealth.
