Nehal Desai

Nehal joined Rathbones in 2010, following prior experience at EFG Private Bank. She moved into investment management and joined Jane Sydenham’s team in 2014.

Nehal is responsible for managing discretionary portfolios for a complex client base, including high-net-worth individuals, family groups, and their associated trusts, charities, and pension funds. She works closely with a variety of clients, including domestic and international accounts, with a particular focus on advising entrepreneurs on structuring and preserving their wealth.

Nehal holds an Honours degree in Law from City University (2007). She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) and has obtained the Investment Management Certificate and the Masters in Wealth Management. Her industry standing has been recognized by her inclusion in the Private Asset Manager Top 40 under 40 list in both 2017 and 2020.
