6 ways women can invest with confidence

One of the biggest money myths out there is that women aren’t interested in investing. Women have been their own Chief Financial Officers for generations, historically running household budgets and now increasingly acting as financially independent bread winners. There's no doubt women are interested and capable investors, but there is a gap in confidence.
In my experience, the confidence gap is in large part down to not knowing where to access reliable and jargon-free information. And often, with so much other life admin competing for our time, finding a trusted professional to help navigate investing.

Laura MacRae

Laura MacRae joined the Greenbank team in 2023 as a Trainee Investment Manager, bringing early career experience from the banking sector, having previously worked at Handelsbanken in Exeter. She has since progressed to the role of Associate Investment Manager.
Laura holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Geography from the University of Birmingham, where she graduated in 2021. She has completed the CISI Investment Advice Diploma and is due to start studying towards the CISI Chartered Wealth Manager qualification as part of her ongoing professional development.
