Michael Turner is the Chief Operations Officer at Rathbones Group Plc, having joined the firm in December 2025 to lead operations and other strategic projects across the organisation. As of 1 February 2026 he took over as SMF24.
He previously spent 18 months as a consultant to asset managers, hedge funds and crypto firms, following a 16 year career at Man Group, which included serving as CEO of Man Solutions from 2017 to 2023. Earlier roles included Head of Research at Aspect Capital and analyst positions at Schroder Salomon Smith Barney.
