We started life as a family-run timber merchant, and by 1912 focused solely on managing our clients’ wealth. Today, we’re a top 3 UK wealth manager, with over 20 offices across the UK and Channel Islands.

We're also proud to support our wider community through initiatives like the Rathbones Group Foundation.

Rathbones sponsors John Moores Painting Prize Visitors' Choice Award 2014

 

An enormous painting of an urban scene strewn with bin bags and graffiti, and overgrown with twisted plants and weeds, is the winner of the John Moores Painting Prize Visitors’ Choice 2014, sponsored by Rathbones.

Since the exhibition opened in July, visitors have been voting in their thousands for their favourite work. With such a varied selection people were spoilt for choice between eerie photorealist works, stunning portraiture, landscape and figurative work or intriguing abstract paintings.

Rathbones celebrates trailblazing women in sport ahead of Lacrosse World Cup

Appointment of Chief Executive Officer

After achieving a successful period of considerable growth, the board of Rathbones Group Plc (“Rathbones”) announces that Philip Howell will retire as Chief Executive Officer and from the board by the 2019 Annual General Meeting on 9th May 2019. The Board has appointed Paul Stockton as his successor, subject to regulatory approval. Paul has been Group Finance Director of Rathbones for nearly a decade and was appointed Managing Director of Rathbone Investment Management in May of this year. Rathbones announces extended partnership with Lacrosse Scotland ahead of the U19 World Championships

Rathbone Brothers Plc (Rathbones), the FTSE 250 wealth management company, announces its extended partnership with Lacrosse Scotland until 2017. The partnership comes during an exciting time for the sport with confirmation that U19 World Championships 2015 will be held in Edinburgh.
