We started life as a family-run timber merchant, and by 1912 focused solely on managing our clients’ wealth. Today, we’re a top 3 UK wealth manager, with over 20 offices across the UK and Channel Islands.

We're also proud to support our wider community through initiatives like the Rathbones Group Foundation.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has announced that Julie Walters CBE, the multi-BAFTA-winning actress, will discuss her career and craft at a special ‘BAFTA A Life in Television’ event at BAFTA headquarters, 195 Piccadilly in London, on Wednesday 3 December. The event is supported by Rathbone Investment Management.

‘BAFTA A Life in Television’ is a new strand of live onstage events that will celebrate leading figures from the world of television, shining a light on their talent and their contribution to British television and culture.

Rathbone Group Plc 2019 Preliminary results

Highlights

  • Total funds under management and administration passed a significant milestone, reaching £50.4 billion at 31 December 2019, up 14.3% from £44.1 billion at 31 December 2018. The FTSE 100 Index increased 12.1% and the MSCI PIMFA Private Investor Balanced Index increased 13.1% over 2019.
  • Funds in Rathbone Investment Management grew 11.7% to £43.0 billion (31 December 2018: £38.5 billion). Operating income in Investment Management was strong, increasing 12.9% to £310.9 million for the year ended 31 December 2019 (2018: £275.3 million), reflecting a full year of income of Speirs &
