Rathbones is pleased to announce that Alex Moore, head of collectives research, has been recognised as a rising star in the industry by landing a spot in PAM’s 2019 Top 40 under 40.

Moore joined Rathbones in May 2015 as a collectives research analyst and was promoted to head of collectives research in July 2018. Prior to joining, he worked for the British Steel Pension Fund and Dimensional Fund Advisors, specialising in Asia-Pacific and emerging markets equity portfolio management.

Rathbone Greenbank Investments (Greenbank), Rathbones’ specialist ethical, sustainable and impact arm, has today detailed its plan to become a net zero emissions business by 2040. This commitment covers emissions associated with its operations, supply chain and investments.

Rathbones is pleased to announce that Melanie Wotherspoon has won a bronze award in the Leadership (Financial Organisation) category of the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards 2017.

Melanie was shortlisted for the award last August in recognition of her services to both Rathbones and the wider wealth management industry.

The Citywealth Powerwomen Awards recognise individuals and companies who maximise the potential of women in wealth. Now in their fourth year, the awards champion women in the wealth sector and highlight the female leaders of today and tomorrow.

The Education Business Awards, which was sponsored by Rathbones, took place at The Grange Hotel in London on 10 July. The awards recognised schools from all sectors for their excellence, innovation and outstanding achievements in the UK education sector. 20 awards were presented by Sharron Davies MBE.

Rathbones awarded the ‘Personal Finance Education Award’ to St Mary’s School, East Sussex at The Education Business Awards, and also presented King’s College School, London with the ‘Outstanding Progress – Independent School Award.’
