Instances of fraud continue to rise, with fraudsters coming up with new scams every day. These scams are designed to gain your trust and convince you that you are dealing with a person or company you know. Fraudsters can then gain access to your personal information, bank account or computer.

Everyone is susceptible, but staying alert and remembering a few common warning signs will help you to protect yourself.

It is important to note that Rathbones does not cold call and will never ask you for any confidential or security information such as online passwords or bank details registered with us or any other organisation.
