Harry is a Client Services Executive assisting a Team of Investment Directors and Investment Managers, managing over £1.2bn in assets for private clients, self-invested personal pensions, and charities. Harry joined Rathbones in 2021, having previously worked as an Investment Administrator at Quilter Cheviot for over 4 years. Harry is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI), and is working towards the Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma.
James Payne

James works closely with a diverse range of clients, including entrepreneurs and current and former Partners from Big Four accountancy firms and Magic Circle law firms. He is passionate about helping clients achieve financial independence through thoughtful, strategic planning and tailored investment advice.James joined Saunderson House after graduating with First Class Honours in Biomedicine from Lancaster University. He holds Chartered Financial Planner status and is now part of Rathbones Financial Planning, following the acquisition of Saunderson House.
Tony Milner

Tony is an investment director. He started his career in stock broking with Allied Provincial in 1987 and over a number of years worked in their Leeds, Lymington and Kendal offices before returning to Lymington to join Brewin Dolphin in 1998 where he became a divisional director. He joined Rathbones in September 2012. Tony specialises in managing portfolios for private individuals, trusts and pension funds and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

I provide holistic financial planning advice and manage multi-asset portfolios as part of our Wealth Planning service to a range of private clients, families and trusts. By focussing on each client's goals and aspirations as a starting point, I am able to create bespoke financial plans and investment strategies built around tax-efficient structures and principles. Frequently strategies are put in place to build wealth over time, plan for income during retirement or to ensure hard earned assets can be passed effectively and tax efficiently between generations over time.

Elliot joined Rathbones’ charity team in 2016 from Investec Wealth & Investment, where he spent eight years as an investment manager in the charities team. He has over 15 years' experience of advising and managing private client portfolios and charity investments. As a trustee and treasurer of Shaftesbury Young People, a charity dedicated to the lives of young and disadvantaged children, and a founding trustee of a Chinese arts-based charity, Elliot brings a wealth of experience and insight to helping charities achieve their future growth goals.
Nehal Desai

Nehal joined Rathbones in 2010 having previously worked at EFG Private Bank. Nehal worked in compliance where she gained valuable experience and joined Jane Sydenham’s team in 2014. Nehal manages portfolios for individuals, family groups and their associated trusts, charities and pension funds. She also has a number of international clients.

I work closely with investment managers to pitch for business with existing and potential clients, and with colleagues in the Investment & Research Office to manage the firm's discretionary fixed income mandates. I also provide commentary on fixed income markets and help with the selection of bond funds and individual credits, providing bespoke solutions and portfolio proposals to a wide range of clients.

My clients include private individuals, trusts, pension schemes and corporates. In addition to my portfolio management role, I also sit on two of Investec's key committees which guide and oversee our investment process.

Having joined Saunderson House 20 years ago and moved to Rathbones in 2022, he is also an authorised Pension Transfer Specialist. Ed specialises in the provision of strategic financial planning, working with clients to build and execute their plans to achieve financial independence, with a focus on the bigger picture as well as the smaller details.
