Tim is an investment director at Rathbones Investment Management International Ltd (RIMI), having joined the company in 2007, and manages a range of private client, trust and charity portfolios. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and holds the Investment Advice Certificate, the Certificate in Investment Management and the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing. Tim sits on the Jersey Executive Committee and has responsibility for RIMI’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations. He also sits on the Group Collectives Committee helping oversee research and selection of ‘best of breed’ funds.

Tim began his career in 1998 with the Bank of New York in London and moved to Jersey in 1999 to join Cater Allen Investment Management, which was acquired by Close International Asset Management in 2001. He was responsible for managing private client investment portfolios and was part of the investment team that managed the award-winning multi-manager, multi-asset Close All Weather Fund.

I work with professional advisers to get to know them, their business and how they build relationships with their clients to gain a strong understanding so that I can best help them. It is also an important part of my role to ensure that they are receiving a high level of service. I specialise in working with Financial Advisers, Lawyers and Accountants providing business development and relationship management. I aim to add value by helping my advisers grow their business, and like to be a sounding board and to suggest ideas to help solve client problems. By understanding my client's needs I can help bring the right team together to support them delivering innovative investment solutions for their clients.

Evangelos is an investment director who joined Rathbones in early 2012. He is responsible for managing a number of portfolios for private individuals, personal pensions, trusts and charities. He is a voting member of the firm’s Strategic Asset Allocation Committee and the Fixed Income Committee. For the last three years, he has also covered fixed income and commodities fund research, sitting on the Respective Collectives Committees. 

Prior to joining Rathbones, Evangelos spent seven years at Turcan Connell Solicitors and Asset Managers, originally working in their compliance department and during the last five years, managing private client portfolios and being responsible for the firm’s fixed income and commodities research as an investment manager. 

Evangelos holds an honours degree in Actuarial Mathematics & Statistics from Heriot Watt University and is a CFA charterholder. He also holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (FCSI).

She is also a mental health first aider and a member of the company’s Diversity Committee. She previously managed a team in the research distribution department at Barclays Capital and worked in marketing at several institutional asset managers, including Deutsche Morgan Grenfell. She studied Italian and Classical History at Leeds University, and is fluent in Italian.

Matthew joined Rathbones in 2021 to spearhead the client development activities across the South and South West of England. Matthew started his career in the British Army, before joining Reuters Ltd in London and then Asia. Whilst in Asia, Matthew moved into banking, working for Credit Agricole and subsequently BNP Paribas Equities and Derivatives, returning to London with BNPP. He went on to build an ETF business at Rabobank, before joining Credit Suisse Private Banking in London, where he led the business development team.

Oliver graduated from the University of Durham in 2006 with a master's degree in Finance and Investment and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Oliver is an investment manager based in the Winchester office and manages private client, SIPP, trust and charity portfolios. I began my career in the Oil & Gas industry, managing Supply and Distribution, before transitioning to Financial Services over 16 years ago.

Since then, I’ve held advisory roles at Lloyds Banking Group—including Bank of Scotland, Lloyds TSB, and Scottish Widows—followed by positions at Aviva Financial Services and Acumen Financial Planning.

I hold a master’s degree, MBA in Management, from the University of Aberdeen. I am a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, as well as a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).

Matt is responsible for Rathbones’ stewardship activities – managing a team delivering proxy voting and engagement on ESG issues. He’s spent his 20-year career exclusively in responsible investment, with specialisms in Climate Change and Human Rights in Supply chains. 

He is a graduate of the University of Bristol where he studied law, with a particular interest in the administration of environmental law. A holder of the CFA Certificate in ESG investing, he also has post-graduate qualifications in Sustainable Development theory and practice. He is a trustee of the Quartet Community Foundation, having previously been on the board of LoveBristol, and urban regeneration charity, and the Ecumenical Council for Corporate Responsibility.
