Cameron graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2009 with an honours degree in Law. While studying for his degree he spent a year abroad in Nijmegen in The Netherlands.

He joined Speirs & Jeffrey in August 2009 and initially worked in the custody department, moving to the investment support department in the summer of 2010. Cameron was appointed an Investment Director in December 2017.

Cameron works closely with Graeme Dickie and Tony Smith. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Security & Investment. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.

Camilla is an Investment Manager working alongside Charles Wilcox and Achuthan Rajendra, managing discretionary investment portfolios for private clients, pensions and trusts. Camilla joined Rathbones in 2016 after graduating from the University of Bristol. She is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, holds the Investment Advice Diploma and the Chartered Wealth Management qualification.

Camilla sits on the UK Collectives and Private Equity Committee. She enjoys building strong relationships with the team’s clients, understanding their goals and providing an excellent service.

Camilla is an investment director and has worked in private client fund management since 2011. She joined Rathbones in 2011 having previously worked at Lyxor Asset Management, part of the Societe Generale Group.

Camilla graduated from the University of Edinburgh gaining a 2:1 in Geography in 2010 and is now a Chartered Fellow, FCSI, of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, having completed the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment Masters in 2014.

She works alongside investment directors’ Clive Hexton and Tim Johnson in managing discretionary private client investment portfolios for complex family structures, including the management of bespoke family funds. As well as participating in researching investment ideas and providing administrative support, Camilla is also a member of the Overseas and UK Investment Committees, which has responsibility for the research, selection and monitoring of international and UK equity exposure for the group.

Camilla is an assistant investment manager supporting Tim Shaw and his team in managing investment portfolios for private clients, pensions and trusts. Camilla joined Rathbones in 2020 as part of the Graduate Programme. Within her time on the programme she obtained the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) level 4 Investment Advice Diploma. She is currently studying towards the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification, having successfully completed CFA Level 1.

Prior to joining Rathbones she graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2018 having read Accounting and Finance (MA).  

Camilla is an assistant investment manager supporting Tim Shaw and his team in managing investment portfolios for private clients, pensions and trusts. Carl has managed the Rathbone Income Fund since the 1 January 2000, having joined Rathbones in 1998. He is one of the longest serving managers in the UK Equity Income sector, with one of the best performance records over that time. He has spent two decades holding executive roles within Rathbones Asset Management, and was closely involved in the creation and evolution of the team’s investment process. He is a member of the CFA Institute and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment.

Carl graduated in 1991 from the University of Southampton with a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature, and in 2021 was awarded an MA (Hons) degree in Modern History from King’s College London. A regular triathlete and ultramarathon runner, Carl has completed an Ironman distance triathlon, as well as two runs of the famous Comrades Marathon in South Africa. He and his wife are heavily involved in animal welfare; they have fostered over 60 rescue dogs, have adopted a dozen over the last 10 years, and are connected to New Hope Animal Rescue, a small animal sanctuary near Herne Bay in Kent. And with only a little encouragement, Carl will also tell you he is vegan.

Carol is an investment director who has worked in investment management since December 1981 and she has been responsible for the discretionary management of investment portfolios for private clients, charities and trusts since 1990. Carol is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and is a Chartered Wealth Manager. 

Carol joined Rathbones’ Edinburgh office in July 2010 having worked previously for the Bank of Scotland Portfolio Management Services from the end of 1981. Whilst with the Bank of Scotland, as well as managing discretionary portfolios, she was involved with the training of colleagues and with compliance monitoring.

Carol is a senior tax manager and joined Rathbones in 2019. She has extensive knowledge and experience of UK tax matters (including Personal Tax, Owner Management Business and Corporation Tax). Her current role enables her to provide high level personal tax advice and compliance. 

Carol is an Associate of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA). She holds MSC in Accounting and Finance from the University of Manchester. 

Before joining Rathbones Carol had 15 years of practical experience in both accountancy and UK taxation. She worked for both small and multinational chartered accounting firms as a tax executive and assistant manager.  Carol grew up in Shanghai and is fluent in Mandarin. She is also a Trustee of Woodland Hospice Trust.

Catherine Murphy is an equity analyst at Greenbank and advises on charity funds. She holds a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Exeter and the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing. Catherine has over 20 years of experience in ethical and sustainable investment including as an investment manager at Henderson Global Investors (where she was a director of Henderson’s Socially Responsible Investment Team). Catherine joined Greenbank in 2004 and specialises in institutional mandates as well as identifying and applying sustainable investment principles to larger portfolios.

Charles began his career as a trainee stockbroker with Charles Stanley & Co in 1986 before joining Laurence Keen in 1990, which was acquired by Rathbones Group Plc in 1995. Charles is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Charles is an investment director, he is responsible for the management of private client portfolios, including trusts, charities and pension funds (SIPPs).
