Iain Hooley

Iain was appointed as group chief financial officer on 1 January 2024.  Iain served as finance director of Investec Wealth & Investment Limited (IW&I) for more than a decade and was appointed CEO of IW&I UK in February 2023. He brings to his current role his extensive knowledge of the sector along with a wealth of experience of financial and regulatory reporting, corporate governance and risk management. Iain is a fellow chartered accountant and began his career with Coopers & Lybrand, which subsequently became PricewaterhouseCoopers. Working in the audit practice, Iain had responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of audit engagements which included SMEs and listed companies across a range of sectors. In 2000, he joined BWD Securities PLC, which went onto become IW&I UK, initially as group financial controller with responsibility for the management of the group’s internal and external financial reporting, tax compliance and other financial matters.
