Phil Bain

Phil is the deputy managing director of Rathbones Investment Management International. He manages a range of private client, trust and charity portfolios and sits on both Jersey and Group Investment Committees at Rathbones. Phil is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and holds the Investment Management Certificate (IIMR). He joined Rathbones from Close International Asset Management, where he was the lead investment manager responsible for managing Close’s multi-award winning All Weather Fund. Phil has worked in the finance industry for 37 years, both in Jersey and the United Kingdom; and he has extensive private and investment banking experience, having also worked previously at SG Hambros and NatWest Bank.
