The Role
To deliver effective investment marketing to key stakeholders, internal and external, contributing meaningful and measurable value to each business area’s growth targets across our fund and investment solutions and propositions.

Outcomes of the Role
•    Work with key stakeholders to develop an evolving investment marketing strategy positioning investment marketing as a trusted resource gaining advocacy from stakeholders
•    Identify marketing opportunities to support growth and deliver collateral and sales messaging for stakeholders to engage their clients in an effective way supporting growth. This includes B2B, B2B2C and B2C
•    Working with key stakeholders introduce thematic and campaign marketing for funds and investment propositions, existing and new
•    Deliver through the team highly effective, multi-format marketing collateral including  PowerPoint presentations, sales aids, reports, bulletins and literature.  Develop new suites of collateral in all forms in response to legislative changes, product launches, campaign requirements and sales initiatives.
•    Management of the Investment Marketing budget to prescribed limits and quantifying / qualifying the value from spend
•    Responsibility for consistency, accuracy, timeliness, compliance and overall quality control of investment marketing production

•    Ensure effective selection and management of team members, regularly assessing the need for evolution of the team to match the development and new markets for key stakeholders - 
•    Working with the Client Strategy & Insight team keep abreast of industry trends and developments, competitors’ marketing activity and ensure appropriate responses and activities when appropriate.  Maintain a diverse industry knowledge within the team in-order to deliver relevant campaigns and communications supporting client acquisition and investment sales growth
•    Ensure investment marketing processes are fit for purpose and continually evolve to maintain effectiveness and align with key stakeholders where appropriate.
•    Maintain open communication with each area of Marketing to ensure we are all contributing to and sharing best practice. Share awareness of innovation in communications, campaigning, technology usage and interactive events, virtual and in-person, for the benefit of the whole team and business.
•    Contribute as a senior stakeholder in Marketing to the compliance sign-off and audit system - PARC
•    Where appropriate with the Communications team liaise with third parties to ensure appropriate brand awareness for the fund business is achieved through awards dinners and publications


Knowledge & Experience
•    Proven experience at senior manager or above level in a sales led investment marketing team. 
•    Demonstrable evidence of successful initiative and campaign development supporting fund sales
•    Evidence of innovation in investment marketing, learning from development in the industry and wider
•    Consistently seeks to qualify and quantify the value of the team’s deliveries, for the business, for key stakeholders, for marketing and individuals within the team
•    Strong collaborator able to work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders
•    Strong management and leadership skills, able to evolve teams to increase efficiency and effectiveness in response to external stimuli whilst maintaining a high level of morale and motivation through opportunities for all
•    Close attention to detail and consistency
•    Ability to oversee and deliver multiple workstreams, within the team and across Marketing and the wider business. Self-motivated with the ability to germinate creative ideas and with the team complete workstreams to an excellent level
•    Good prioritiser and able to work on a number of tasks at any one time, big and small, with a strong understanding of planning to deadlines that ensures that no task is left uncompleted – able to make a workload judgement and bring in the skills of other team members to help where required
