Claire joined Rathbones in 2021, initially working in the Chichester office, as a Client Service Executive. More recently Claire has moved to the Guildford office.

Claire has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years, and started her career at Lloyds TSB, providing administrative support to both clients and Investment Directors. In October 2023 Claire obtained the CISI Introduction to Securities and investments qualification.

Claire lives in Chichester with her husband and 2 teenage children. She enjoys travelling to Spain to see family and spending time with friends and family.

Connor joined Rathbones in 2024 and is a Financial Planner, supporting private clients with personalised financial planning to help them achieve their long-term goals. He has been working in financial planning since 2019, developing his skills and knowledge through roles focused on investment planning, retirement strategy, and estate planning. Before joining Rathbones, he worked at a regional Wealth firm in Henley-On-Thames where he managed a wide range of client relationships.

Connor holds a degree in Business with Sports Science from the University of Oxford Brookes and Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. He is currently studying towards Chartered Financial Planner status.

Connor enjoys his downtime gardening on his allotment, playing rugby for National 1 team Rams RFC, and travelling to experience local food, drink and culture. He also enjoys cooking, baking, and walking his whippet Twiggy with girlfriend Amber.

Inheritance tax set to surpass 2006/07 peak

Jonathan joined Rathbones on 1st July 2025, and was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer on 18 August 2025.

Jonathan joins Rathbones from Capstone, the alternatives investment manager, where he was President.  Prior to this, Jonathan was Chief Financial Officer and then President of Man Group plc, the listed asset manager. He began his career at Goldman Sachs, where he was a Managing Director working in the Investment Banking, Investment Management and Securities divisions in London and New York. 

Jonathan is the co-founder of the 10,000 Interns Foundation and of ABL, which provide paid internships for student from underrepresented groups. Jonathan works extensively with the NSPCC, the children’s charity, as a member of its Rebuilding Childhoods Board and as an Honorary Council Member. Most recently, Jonathan has founded Towards, a business providing local, accessible and affordable mental healthcare in the UK which he chairs in a non-executive capacity.

Jonathan has an MA in Law from Cambridge University.

Jess works closely with James Blosse-Lynch and David Parsons, managing discretionary multi-asset investment portfolios for a variety of private clients, trusts, charities, and pensions.  She joined Rathbones in 2023, having previously worked as a financial planner and portfolio manager at Saunderson House.
Jess is a Chartered Wealth Manager (CISI), a Chartered Financial Planner (APFS), and holds the CFA Diploma in Investment Management (ESG). She graduated in 2014 with a BA (Hons) degree in Economics and Politics (2:1) from the University of Sheffield.

One-year state pension delay could cost early 50s workers almost £18k 

Workers aged 51–53 could be the first affected if the state pension age rise to 68 is brought forward by a year, potentially reducing their pension payments by up to £17,774, according to new calculations by Rathbones, one of the UK’s leading wealth managers.

David is an investment director working alongside James Blosse-Lynch, managing investment portfolios for private clients, pensions and trusts. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC). 

Prior to joining Rathbones, David worked at Schroders for six years in the multi-asset investment team. Before moving into financial services David was in the British Army, serving in The Royal Regiment of Scotland. 

David is an investment director working alongside James Blosse-Lynch, managing investment portfolios for private clients, pensions and trusts. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC). Prior to joining Rathbones, David worked at Schroders for six years in the multi-asset investment team. Rathbones Group plc announces results for the six months ended 30 June 2025

“The first half of 2025 marked a pivotal phase for Rathbones, as we successfully completed the planned client and asset migration of Investec Wealth & Investment (IW&I). This milestone increased run-rate synergies to £47.2 million as at 30 June 2025 and set the stage for the remaining synergies to be delivered in the second half of the year as we continue to realise further benefits of operating as a single, larger business."
