Paul started his career as a branch manager with Waters Lunnis stockbrokers. Prior to joining Rathbones he worked at Vartan Ravenscroft as an investment manager for 14 years. Paul managed accounts on both an advisory and discretionary basis ranging from private clients, SIPPs, ISAs, trusts, companies and charities.  

Paul is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute for Securities & Investment and passed the Private Client Investment Advice and Management paper in 2012.

Jessica qualified as a solicitor in 2015, having trained with Wedlake Bell LLP, and joined Rathbones in 2022.

Jessica’s practice covers all aspects of residential conveyancing, acting for UK and overseas individuals, estates, companies and trusts, advising on: disposals and acquisitions of freehold and leasehold properties; new-build purchases; voluntary and compulsory first registrations of title; general landlord and tenant issues, and other associated matters.

In addition to residential property work, Jessica also deals with the administration of estates.

Jessica is now on maternity leave.

Neil is part of the team that specialises in the management of private clients, charities, trusts and pension funds.

Alan joined Rathbones in October 2005. He became co-manager of the Rathbone Income Fund in October 2018. Alan has previously managed and co-managed a number of UK, European and global equity funds for Rathbones.

He graduated from the University of Strathclyde with an MSc Finance and also holds degrees in Accounting & Finance and Chemical Sciences from the Universities of Glasgow and Edinburgh, respectively. Alan holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.

Alan joined Rathbones in October 2005. He became co-manager of the Rathbone Income Fund in October 2018. Lee has over 15 years finance industry experience, with the last 12 years gained in investment management including managing trust, private client and institutional portfolios, with particular expertise in macroeconomics and bonds. At Rathbones Lee sits on the group Fixed Interest Committee. Lee is a graduate of St. Andrews University with an MA (Hons) in Management and Economics; he also has an MBA from Edinburgh University. Lee is an Adjunct Professor at the Jersey International Business School and is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.

Tim is a regional director responsible for Rathbones' Investment Management business in Liverpool.

He started his investment career in 1994 initially with Neilson Cobbold which was acquired by Rathbones in 1996. Prior to this Tim served eight years in the Army with the 9th/12th Royal Lancers.

Tim is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. He manages a wide variety of client portfolios including private clients, trusts, pension funds and charitable trusts on a segregated basis. Tim was a member of the Group Stock Selection Committee from 2002 to 2017 and chairman of trustees for the Rathbone pension scheme from 2006 to 2018, he is also involved with the Financial Advisor Specialist Group. Tim was appointed as a non-executive director for the Invesco Income Growth Trust plc on 3rd April 2018.

Nicole is a Trust Banking and Financial Control Manager having joined Rathbones in 1994.  She works in the London Trust department and also assists the Legal Team.  She is in charge of all the Company client accounts and prides herself on her attention to detail.

Nicole has a sound working knowledge of Compliance as she also acts as a liaison between the MLRO and the Team on all AML matters.

He started his career at Flemings in 1999 where he was a dealer before he joined Rathbones in 2007. James is the regional coordinator for the Discretionary Fund Management Services Committee which promotes Rathbone services to external advisors and is the former Chairman of one of the Rathbone Investment Committees. He is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

James recently moved to Cambridge with his wife and son, and enjoys his rugby the outdoors and being involved with church.

Furthermore, I provide discretionary fund management (DFM) services for a number of financial advisers across the North West and beyond.
