She holds the both the Chartered Financial Planner designation and Fellow status from the Personal Finance Society.  She is also studying towards the Internationally recognised Financial planner TM certification from the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.  

Alanah is passionate about proving a holistic financial planning service including matters such as tax planning, Retirement income planning, Inheritance tax and estate planning.

Based in the Leeds office. Andrew joined Rathbones in 2023 from his previous role as Managing Director and Head of Leeds office at Brown Shipley. He is a Chartered Wealth Manager and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. He has been advising Charities, Trusts, Private Clients and Pension Funds for over 35 years.

He has held board roles with various charities and is an experienced trustee. His clients' needs and aims are his only focus. He stays in close contact with clients and their evolving needs and providing them with most suitable ongoing investment solutions remains his primary objective.

James manages portfolios for private clients, trusts and pensions. After graduating from the University of Glasgow in 2010 with an honours degree in Law, he spent time abroad, before joining Speirs & Jeffrey in June 2012. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.

James is a Chartered Wealth Manager and he is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

In addition to looking after his own client bank, James also works closely with Graeme Dickie.

Stephen has over twenty-five years of investment experience. Stephen’s earlier investment career was in institutional fund management working as an investment director at Scottish Widows Investment Management and before that an investment manager at Britannic (now Abrdn) Asset Management. Over this period Stephen specialised in Japanese and Asian equities prior to forming part of a global equity team with responsibilities for the financial sectors. 

After graduating from Heriot-Watt University with an honours degree in Economics, Stephen completed postgraduate studies in Investment Analysis at Stirling University. Stephen is a member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Society of the UK and a Chartered Fellow of The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

She has a certificate in Investment Administration level 3 from the Securities & Investment Institute (2009), and obtained a BA (Hons) in Humanities with Classical Studies from the Open University in 2015.

Cameron graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2009 with an honours degree in Law. While studying for his degree he spent a year abroad in Nijmegen in The Netherlands.

He joined Speirs & Jeffrey in August 2009 and initially worked in the custody department, moving to the investment support department in the summer of 2010. Cameron was appointed an Investment Director in December 2017.

Cameron works closely with Graeme Dickie and Tony Smith. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Security & Investment. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.

Adrian joined Rathbones in 2004 after graduating from the University of Liverpool with an honours degree in Financial Economics and is currently Head of Charities in Liverpool.

He went on to work in the microbiology diagnostic labs at the RVI and Freeman hospitals in Newcastle before joining Speirs & Jeffrey in September 2016. Speirs & Jeffrey was then acquired by Rathbones.

He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments, having obtained the Investment Advice Diploma and Chartered Wealth Manager (CWM) qualifications.
