Chris has been helping clients for almost two decades, with a particular specialism in partners at PwC and other accountancy and law practices, as well as barristers and other city professionals. Chris has a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge, is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. He joined Saunderson House (SHL) in 2007 and is now part of Rathbones Financial Planning following the acquisition of SHL in October 2021.

He enjoys that each client is unique, with their own personal goals and wishes, and likes nothing more than working collaboratively to achieve them. He has a particular interest in the use of cash flow modelling to tailor a high-level roadmap for each client, which helps shape the strategy adopted in other areas. This typically includes helping clients decide how their families can be best protected, how to grow their portfolio, when they can afford to retire and how they can live the life they wish.

Outside of work, Chris is a sports fanatic and enjoys many weekends playing hockey or softball, as well as hitting the ski slopes in winter. He is also a keen cyclist, having completed various multi-day international rides for charity. Chris also spent two summers teaching sports to children in the USA, before starting his financial planning career.
