After achieving a successful period of considerable growth, the board of Rathbones Group Plc (“Rathbones”) announces that Philip Howell will retire as Chief Executive Officer and from the board by the 2019 Annual General Meeting on 9^th May 2019. The Board has appointed Paul Stockton as his successor, subject to regulatory approval. Rathbone Brothers Plc (Rathbones), the FTSE 250 wealth management company, announces its extended partnership with Lacrosse Scotland until 2017. The partnership comes during an exciting time for the sport with confirmation that U19 World Championships 2015 will be held in Edinburgh.  

Rathbones' sponsorship has enabled Lacrosse Scotland to set up the Rathbones Fund, a body which offers grants to lacrosse players, and also clubs which are aiming to develop the sport in Scotland. Rathbones’ charity team was delighted to win the Investment Manager of the Year award for the second year running at the 18^th Annual Charity Times Awards on 4 October.

The awards celebrate best practice in the UK charity and not-for-profit sector and Rathbones were one of seven investment management firms shortlisted. The ceremony, run by Charity Times, took place at the Park Plaza on Westminster Bridge with winners announced by comedian Shappi Khorsandi.
