Types of fraud

Unfortunately, there are numerous types of frauds. Both Report Fraud and UK Finance, via the "Take Five to Stop Fraud" campaign, each maintain a list of fraud types on their respective websites.

The FCA maintains a list of unauthorised firms and individuals that they're aware of, that aren’t allowed to operate in the UK.

The International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) maintains a list of firms that are not authorised to provide investment services in the jurisdiction that issued the alert or warning.

Report a suspicious text
