More recognition at the annual Citywealth and the Better Society Awards

This year’s Citywealth Magic Circle awards took place on Wednesday 10 May and our private client team won the Private Client Asset Manager of the Year (Institutional) award for the second year running. Our team was recognised for its commitment to excellence in client service, leadership and contribution to the profession.

Rathbones enjoyed further success on the evening as the charity team were runners up in the Charity Investment Manager of the Year category. This is a category the team has won five times in the last seven years.

Melanie Wotherspoon, Business Development Director, Rathbone Investment Management commented: “The Citywealth Magic Circle Awards are highly regarded by all within the industry and we are truly honoured to have won Private Client Asset Manager of the Year (Institutional). What makes this even more special is that the awards are voted for by the professional intermediaries we work with day in, day out. A special mention must also go to the charity team for its hard work and ongoing commitment to the sector.”

This year’s Better Society Awards took place Thursday 11 May at the London Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square and our charity team was delighted to be named Asset Manager of the Year for the second year in a row. Organised by the Better Society Network, the Better Society Awards reach beyond the third sector to assess and reward those who are helping to create a better, more equal, ethical and sustainable world.
