Rathbone Investment Management is pleased to announce the promotion of Ben Shaw and Laura Dempsey to Financial Planner. Both individuals joined in entry level roles as Client Services Executives.

Catherine Taylor is Chief Operations Officer and a main board director at Rathbone Investment Management International (‘RIMI’) in Jersey, and manages the offshore operational infrastructure supporting the growing international private client business.

Since joining RIMI in 2015, Catherine has overseen a rise in funds under management in Jersey from £1.2 billion at 31^st December 2015 to £2.0 billion at 30^th September 2019. During the same period, the

Rathbones today announces that it will provide principal sponsorship for the University of Liverpool’s project to design and build ARION1, a bicycle which will attempt to break the land speed record for fastest human powered vehicle, and bring the record to the UK for the first time.

The project will see a team of undergraduate students from the University of Liverpool’s School of Engineering attempt the record in September this year, as part of the World Human Power Speed Challenge – an annual event held in Battle Mountain, Nevada.
