Ahmed Makama
Ahmed is a Client Service Administrator based in Rathbones' Birmingham office. He joined Rathbones in July 2024 and is a part of the Wealth Management Client Care team, supporting the delivery of a high-quality service to clients, advisers, and other professional contacts. Ahmed studied Law at the University of Sheffield before beginning his career in wealth management.
In his role, Ahmed supports the day-to-day administration of client accounts, working closely with investment managers and internal teams to ensure client instructions are processed efficiently and accurately.
Ahmed directly supports a range of investment managers whose client base includes direct clients, adviser-led clients, and charitable organisations. In doing so, he contributes to the smooth running of a variety of client relationships, each with differing requirements and considerations.
His responsibilities include supporting the onboarding of new clients, maintaining account records, and assisting with a range of administrative processes across client portfolios. He also liaises with external parties, including professional advisers and representatives of other organisations, to help ensure information is exchanged clearly and processes are completed in a timely manner.
