Ben Tibbalds

Ben joined Rathbones in September 2025. 

He brings over 20 years' experience in risk management across alternative asset management and investment banking. He spent 14 years at Man Group as Head of Group Financial Risk, where he built and managed frameworks across investment risk, capital modelling, counterparty risk and risk appetite. Earlier in his career, he held senior risk roles at JP Morgan, specialising in equity markets and exotic derivatives.

He holds an MA/MEng in Engineering from Cambridge University and an MSc in Mathematical Trading and Finance from Bayes Business School.
