James Parker

James is an Associate Investment Director at Rathbones, where he is responsible for managing bespoke portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners across the North West.

He works closely with his clients to understand their wider financial position, combining long-term investment management with a strong awareness of tax and careful coordination alongside their legal and professional advisers. His approach is pragmatic and relationship-led, helping clients gain clarity and confidence in their financial decision-making, whilst achieving their long-term aspirations.

Outside of work, he can usually be found with his fiancée walking their fox-red Labrador, Bruno, or making his way around one of the many golf courses the North West has to offer.
