About
Olly Cheng
I joined Saunderson House (SHL) in 2008 as part of the graduate trainee programme, following the completion of an MPhil in Social and Economic History from the University of Oxford. I am now a Chartered Financial Planner, a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, and have been part of Rathbones Financial Planning since the acquisition of SHL in October 2021.
I have been authorised to provide advice directly to clients since 2012, and for much of my career took on a technical role alongside managing client relationships.
For my clients I am responsible for providing a combination of strategy, technical advice and investment planning. I have a particular specialism in estate planning, having obtained a diploma from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Outside of work, my time is spent with my wife and two children, with my weekends taken up coaching their various sports teams.
