About
Richard Robson
Richard works with individuals, families, business owners, trusts, charities and companies, helping them manage and structure significant and often complex wealth.
Clients often seek Richard’s advice when approaching retirement, selling a business or property, receiving an inheritance, or considering how best to support their family and pass wealth to future generations. He helps clients determine what their money needs to achieve and how best to invest it for the longer term.
Richard has particular experience managing bespoke portfolios for high-net-worth and very-high-net-worth clients, including families across multiple generations, as well as investing funds on behalf of companies. His approach starts with understanding what the money is for and when it may be needed, before determining the appropriate investment strategy and level of risk. He works closely with financial planners and other professional advisers so that investment decisions reflect each client’s wider financial circumstances and objectives.
Richard joined Rathbones in 2024, having worked in wealth management since 2010. He is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI and a Chartered Wealth Manager, and graduated from the University of Bristol with a First-Class Honours degree.
